The years have gone by but the lessons remain

August 13th has always been one of my favorite days becuase it is the day my Dad, James Leon Evans was born 65 years ago. I love and miss him him everyday but I am so grateful that my daughter has the most amazing guardian angel looking out for her constantly ♥ 

I am sure that Adelaide and my father have a relationship that I don't understand from before she came to me here on this earth. I am so glad we will be a family forever. My dad was the most amazing, hard working and faithful men. My daughter will grow up hearing all the wonderful stories of my father and all the wonderful lessons that he taught me. 

I love my father. I love that God let me have as long as he did. I look forward to seeing him again.
I look forward to having him meet/reunite with all the wonderful people who are taking care of me here while he is gone. 

My dad will always be my hero.
